A Dutch Bijzonder Vrijwillige Landstorm (B.V.L.) Champion Badge; Multi-piece construction, silver with gold lettering with a dark red wool base visible in the voided areas, two hallmarks on the wreath, illustrating the letters "BVL" over crossed rifles, backed by a wreath and surmounted by the Royal Dutch crown, support plate triple screwed to the reverse and maker marked "KON. BEEGER VOORSCHOTEN", 45 mm x 58.7 mm, full-length vertical clip on the reverse, light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: The badge was established in 1930 and awarded to those who met the requirements for "King Shooter" of the Special Voluntary Landstorm. (C:17)
