Netherlands. A Mint National Socialist Movement Flag

An extremely well-preserved Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging (National Socialist Movement/NSB) flag, of multi-piece rayon construction, consisting of a black and red base divided into equal halves and securely held together at the seam with machine embroidery, featuring double-sided central insignia consisting of an triangular path constructed of an oilcloth-style material, featuring a black and red background overlaid by a shield featuring an orange, white, and blue Dutch tricolour motif, in turn defaced by a lion rampant clutching a sword and quiver of arrows, circumscribed by initials “NSB”, the hoist edge reinforced with a white cotton border with a hollow channel through which is looped a period original drawstring, unmarked, measuring 114.5 cm (w) x 79 cm (h), demonstrating no evident damage or other condition issues, a rare example in near mint condition.
