In Gold, weighing 16.9 grams inclusive of its ribbon and hanger, obverse illustrating the left-facing bust of King Haakon VII of Norway, engraver marked "THROMBEEN" at the base of the bust, inscribed HAAKON VII" at the left and "NORGES KONGE" at the right, reverse with the cypher of King Haakon VII, the medal surmounted by the Royal crown, measuring 25 mm (w) x 35.5 mm (h), original ribbon with pinback hanger, extremely fine.
