CIECHANOWSKI" on the edge, obverse illustrating the 1st Armoured Division insignia in the centre, flanked by the inscription "I DYWIZJA PANCERNA" (1st Armoured Division) at the left, surrounded by the inscription "W WALKACH O POLSKE NA ZIEMIACH FRANCJI BELGII HOLANDII I NIEMIIEC / 1944-1945 / 1944-1945" (In the Fight for Poland in the Lands of France, Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany), reverse illustrating the Polish Armed Forces insignia above a map of Northern Germany, with five towns marked on the map (Meppen, Emden, Wilhelmshaven, Soltau, Hannover), inscribed in Latin "GERMANIAE FINES / A POLONIS / DEBELLATI / PRAESIDIIS / TENENTUR / MCMXLV / MCMXLVII" (The End of Germany / From Poland / Defeated / Guardians / They are Held / 1945 / 1947", measuring 69.5 mm in diameter, edge nicks, bruised, spotting, better than very fine.
