Poland, II Republic. A Cross for the Defenders of Lwów, by E.M. Unger
Constructed of bronze, with a screw and backplate, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with a central Lwów coat of arms, circumscribed by an inscription of “LWÓW 1-22 1918”, the reverse stamped with an issue number “4727”, the backplate with a maker’s mark of “E.M. UNGER, LWÓW”, measuring 39.10 mm (w) x 38.98 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
