Portugal; A Portuguese Military Order of Christ Commander Badge in silver gilt with red and white enamels, measuring 42.8 mm x 65.8 mm, ornate loop, independent full-length neck ribbon; and Breast Star: silver gilt with red and white enamelled insignia, mounted to a twenty-two pointed silver star base, maker marked "FREDERICO G. DA COSTA LISBOA" on the reverse cartouche, 70 mm x 70 mm, vertical pinback, dark patina. Fine chipping evident in the white enamels at the junction on the cross and scattered gilt wear on the Commander Badge, the gilt and enamels intact on the Breast Star, near extremely fine. In their hardshelled case of issue, forest green velvet dual recessed medal beds, wear evident on the exterior, case very fine.
