All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Portugal, Republic. An Order of Military Merit, II Class c.1960

(Ordem do Mérito Militar). Instituted 1946. In silver gilt, consisting of a white enameled Latin Cross with three-pointed ends, featuring a nicely enameled red Latin cross, double-sided, suspended by a typical Portuguese tower, with unknown Portuguese hallmark, measuring 56.45 mm (w) x 81.94 mm (h - inclusive of tower and integral ring), suspended by original neck ribbon with ornament loop suspension, extremely good condition.

Footnote: The order was instituted in Portugal on May 28, 1946 in four classes to be awarded to military personnel who display exceptional military qualities and virtues that merit public respect and acknowledgement.
