(Joseph Resch, Bucharest; Argint = Silver) on the ring, 70 mm, on its original evening dress section sash; and Breast Star: multi-piece construction, silver gilt with red and white enamelled insignia, mounted to a silver eight-pointed star base, maker marked "JOSEPH RESCH FILS BUCHAREST" on the reverse cartouche, marked "ARG." Argint = Silver) on the pin, 90 mm x 90.2 mm, vertical pinback. Intact enamels, scattered gilt wear, near extremely fine. In their hardshelled case of issue, cypher of Ferdinand I on the lid, maker marked "Joseph Resch & Fii Bucharest" on the inside lid, raised platform with recessed and slotted medal beds, wear evident on the exterior and in the fabric overlying the hinged area on the interior, case very fine.
