What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Romania (Kingdom); Silver gilt with red, green and blue enamels, maker marked "RESCH" (Joseph Resch, Bucharest) on the edge of the arm at 6 o'clock, Romanian eagle on the obverse centrepiece, 41.5 mm (w) x 68.7 mm (h) inclusive of its crown and crossed swords suspension, on an original peacetime ribbon with hook and eye, intact enamels, extremely fine.

Footnote: The Order of the Star of Romania is Romania's highest civil Order and second highest State decoration after the defunct Order of Michael the Brave. It was originally awarded in six grades: Grand Cross with Collar, Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer and Knight.
