What's a max bid?

A pair of military academy graduation badges, including a Joseph Stalin Military Academy Badge, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a white enameled oval with gilt highlights, overlaid by a red enameled five-pointed star bearing a coat of arms of the Socialist Republic of Romania, above a blue enameled banner bearing a gilt inscription of “ACADEMIA MILITARĂ I.V. STALIN”, within a laurel and oak leaf wreath joined together by ribbon, the reverse with a screw and backplate, engraved with issue number “2870”, measuring 30 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition, and; a General Military Academy badge, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a white enameled oval with gilt highlights, overlaid by a red enameled five-pointed star bearing a coat of arms of the Socialist Republic of Romania, above a blue enameled banner bearing a gilt inscription of “ACADEMIA MILITARĂ GENERALA”, the reverse with a screw and backplate with threaded padding, maker marked “MONETĂRIA STATULUI, BUCHAREȘTI” for the Romanian Mint, measuring 30 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
