(A 1780 Imperial Russian Visit of the Holy Roman Emperor Joseph II to Russia under the name of Count Falkenstein Commemorative Medal) In die struck bronze, obverse illustrating the right-facing bust of Count Falkenstein, inscribed with his name in cyrillic script above and engraver marked "I.C. IAEGER." (Johann Caspar Gottlieb Jaeger), reverse inscribed "In the Year 1780 July, 1st" in cyrillic script, 61.7 mm, edge nicks, contact marks, better than very fine. Footnote: Holy Roman Emperor Joseph II travelled to Russia under the name of Count Falkenstein in 1780.
