Constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period correct replacement ribbon, obverse with central royal monogram of Tsar Nicholas II within laurel branches, circumscribed by “ПЕРВАЯ ВСЕОБЩАЯ ПЕРЕПИСЬ НАСЕЛЕНІЯ” (“First Universal Census of the General Population”), reverse with inscription “ЗАТРУДЫ ПО ПЕРВОЙ ВСЕОБЩЕЙ ПЕРЕПИСИ НАСЕЛЕНІЯ 1897”, (“Staff of the First Universal Census of the General Population 1897”), unmarked, measuring 29.36 mm in diameter, in better than very fine condition.
