Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension, obverse depicts soldiers advancing across a battlefield with a rising sun in the background, surrounded by a laurel and oak leaf wreath, topped by crossed swords, reverse with central shield commemorating the Iassy-Don Campaign within a laurel and oak leaf wreath, topped by inscription of “ПОХОДЪ ДРОЗДОВЦЕВЪ” (“Drozdovsky's March”), with recipient’s surname “ГАЕВСКІЙ” (“Gayevsky”), measuring 31.92 mm (w) x 44.66 mm (h), weighing 18.5 grams, in extremely fine condition.
