What's a max bid?

Russia, Imperial. A Medal of the Russo-Japanese War 1904-1905, Light Bronze Issue to the Army

(Памятная медаль Русско-японской войны). Instituted in 1906. In bronze gilt, measuring 28 mm (w) x 33.5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, bruised, very light contact, on a replacement folded ribbon, near extremely fine.

 

Footnote: The Commemorative Medal of Russo-Japanese War 1904-1905 was instituted on January 21, 1906 during the reign of Tsar Nicholas II, to commemorate the 1904-1905 conflict between the Russian and the Japanese Empires, in three versions: (i) the silver medal awarded for defenders of Port Arthur, (ii) the dark bronze medal awarded to medical and clerical personnel that had been on active duty in the eastern Siberian regions adjacent to the territories declared as a war zone (non-combatants), and (iii) the light bronze version to the Army.
