What's a max bid?

Russia, Imperial. An 1805 Medal for the Cornerstone of the St. Petersburg Stock Exchange, by Carl Leberecht

Constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a raised and rightward-facing profile of Tsar Alexander I, circumscribed by name and title in Russian Cyrillic, the reverse bearing a central raised depiction of the St. Petersburg Stock Exchange, flanked by rostral columns and with boats visible in harbour, circumscribed by Cyrillic inscriptions indicating that the medal was issued to commemorate the laying of the cornerstone in 1805 (with construction continuing until 1810), the obverse marked “КАРЛЪ ЛЕБЕРЕХТЪ” for medalist and sculptor Carl Leberecht of St. Petersburg, measuring 51 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
