In bronze gilt, painted centrepieces, French-made, measuring 18.7 mm (w) x 21.7 mm (h) inclusive of its lateral-pierced ball suspension, intact enamels, scattered gilt wear, original ribbon with pinback, near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Order of St. George was instituted in 1769 and awarded for meritorious military services or bravery in combat, in four grades.
