What's a max bid?

Russia, Imperial. An Order of the White Eagle, Breast Star Miniature

(Звезда ордена Белого Орла). Instituted 1 November 1705 by Augustus II. Incorporated into Russian orders 1831 by Tsar Nicholas I. Constructed of gilded silver with enamels, consisting of an eight-pointed radiant star, the obverse with a central red and white enameled Cross Pattée with gilt designs between the quadrants, within a blue enameled ring bearing a gilt inscription of “PRO FIDE REGE ET LEGE” (“FOR FAITH, KING, AND LAW”) in Latin script, the reverse plain, the twelve o’clock point with an integral loop and suspension ring, unmarked, measuring 17.30 mm (w) x 19.35 mm (h), weighing 1.7 grams, some loss of gilt lettering and tarnishing of silver features evident, in very fine condition.
