What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

In bronze gilt with red and white enamels, crowned two-headed eagle insignia placed upon a heart on the obverse, inscribed "R.V.S." over "W.W." (Russian Veterans' Society of the World War) on the reverse, measuring 31.7 mm (w) x 35.2 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, intact enamels, extremely fine.

Footnote: The Order of the Compassionate Heart was originally bestowed upon First World War Russian veterans living in exile in the United States.
