Constructed of brass, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with magnetic metal pentagonal mount, obverse depicts raised leftward-facing bust of Joseph Stalin, circumscribed by Cyrillic inscriptions translating to “OUR CAUSE IS RIGHT” and “VICTORY IS OURS”, reverse with small five-pointed star and Cyrillic inscription translating to “FOR VICTORY OVER GERMANY” and “IN THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR OF 1941-45”, measuring 32 mm in diameter, accompanied by book of issue inscribed with recipient’s name, in very fine condition.
