What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

(Ordine Equestre Civile e Militaire di San Marino). Instituted in 1859. Five-piece construction, in bronze gilt with blue, white and black enamels, hand-painted obverse centerpiece, measuring 45.7 mm (w) x 45.7 mm (h), small chip evident in the white enamels at the tip of the arm at 12 o'clock on the obverse, along with crazing present in the white enamels on the reverse of the arm at 3 o'clock, original ribbon, better than very fine.

 

Footnote: The Civil and Military Order of San Marino (Saint Marinus) was instituted on August 13, 1859. It is awarded for outstanding civil or military services to the Republic, or for humanitarian, artistic, political or scientific accomplishment, in five grades: Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer and Knight, plus a Medal in Gold, Silver and Bronze Grades.
