Serbia, Kingdom. An Order of the White Eagle, III Class
Instituted January 23, 1883 by King Milan I. Type II (1913-1941). Civil Division. In silver gilt, a white enamelled double headed eagle with delicate wings, the obverse medallion featuring a white enamel cross on a red enamel field, the reverse medallion presents the year 1882 on a red enamel field, the bird is surmounted by a large crown with blue enamel pendilia, measures 40.95mm (w) x 84.95mm (h – inclusive of crown suspension), weighs 42.1 grams (including ribbon), worn on original full length neck ribbon, enamels chipped, pendilia have been reenamelled, remains in very fine condition.
