Serbia, Kingdom. An Order of the White Eagle, IV Class
(Orden Belog Orla). Instituted February 22, 1881 by King Milan I. Type II (1903-1941). Civil Division. In silver gilt, a white enamelled double headed eagle with delicate wings, the obverse medallion featuring a white enamel cross on a red enamel field, the reverse medallion presents the year 1882 on a red enamel field, the bird is surmounted by a large crown with blue enamel pendilia, measures 33.25mm (w) x 67.65mm (h – inclusive of cross adorned crown suspension), weighs 25.9 grams (including ribbon), worn on an original triangular fold ribbon, enamel chip to right side of pendilia, light gilt wear on crown, remains in extremely fine condition.
