Serbia, Kingdom. An Award Document for the Order of St. Sava, V Class Knight’s Cross, to Petar Balać
Constructed of off-white paper sock with multi-coloured ink, the obverse bearing an elaborate printed design featuring the name and title of King Alexander I of Yugoslavia, topped by the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, flanked by a detailed etching of the Order of St. Sava, and situated above a printed form with handwritten information indicating that “ПЕТАР БАЛАЋ” (“PETAR BALAĆ”) has been awarded the V Class Cross of the Order, awarded by order on 17 December 1928 and officially bestowed upon Balać on 1 March 1929, measuring 36.5 cm (w) x 49.5 cm (h), demonstrating folding creases which have been reinforced on the reverse with tape, in addition to minor discolouration, in near extremely fine condition.
