(Orden Svetog Save). Instituted in 1883. Type II (1903-1922). In silver gilt, a lovely white and blue enamelled Maltese cross with ball finials, double headed crowned eagles in each quadrant, the obverse medallion features Saint Sava in red robes, surrounded by the inscription троvломb сконмb вbса прнобрвте (One’s Own Work Achieves All), the convex reverse medallion with the year 1883 on a white background encircled by a decorative blue enamelled ring, the cross is surmounted by a large crown, measures 49.7mm (w) x 87.5mm (h), weighs 41.9 grams, worn on a segment of neck ribbon, numerous arm tips have been reenamelled, remains in very fine condition.
