In silver gilt, a white eagle a white enamelled double headed eagle with delicate wings, the obverse medallion featuring a white enamel cross on a red enamel field, the reverse medallion presents the year 1882 on a red enamel field, the bird is surmounted by a large crown with blue enamel pendilia, measures 44.5mm (w) x 90.7mm (h – inclusive of surmounting crown), weighs 46.1 grams, accompanied by a segment of neck ribbon, enamels intact light wear, remains in very fine condition.
The Grand Officer Star in silver git, presents an eight point star with four primary rays of alternating dual faceted rays with one smooth ray, the obverse medallion presenting a white enamelled double headed eagle with delicate wings, the obverse medallion featuring a white enamel cross on a red enamel field, with a surmounting crown with blue enamelled pendilia, the reverse with a single pin assembly, unmarked but likely of Bertrand manufacture, measures 80.2mm (w) x 84.25mm (h), weighs 66.7 grams, dark patina on arms, enamels intact, pin and hinge functional, crown slightly moveable, remains in extremely fine condition.
