Spain, France. : Bronze, cornucopia hallmarked and marked "BRONZE" on the edge, obverse illustrating the right-facing bust of Marshal Joffre, inscribed "A JOFFRE" at the left and "LES CATALANS" at the right, engraver marked "J.P. LEGASTELOIS", reverse illustrating a Catalan insignia within a wreath of oak leaves and laurel leaves in the centre, inscribed "JOURNEE CATALANE" above and "12 NOVEMBRE 1916" below, 35.5 mm, original ribbon, accompanied by its 18.5 mm Rosette with button hole attachment, extremely fine.
