An excellent miniature medal bar consisting of: a Spanish Alfonso XIII’s Coronation Medal in silver, featuring engraved bust of Alfonso XIII with Latin inscription ALPHOSUS XIII D G HISP RE, reverse dated by 17 MAII 1902 (coronation’s date) surrounded by a wreath composed of laurel and oak branches, measuring 13.49 mm (w) x 15.75 mm (h - inclusive integral ball), toned silver, suspended by original ribbon, very good; a Knight of the Spanish Order of Charles III in bronze gilt, consisting of an enameled blue white-framed Maltese Cross with ball finials, featuring delicate fleur-de-lys in each quadrant, with surmounted gilded laurel wreath, obverse centre showing an enameled image of Virgin Mary with elegant blue ring, reverse with a gilded monogram of Charles III on dark-blue background, surrounded by Latin inscription VIRTUTE ET MERITO (Virtue and Merit), measuring 11.62 mm (w) x 18.40 mm (h - inclusive surmounted wreath), with slight enamel loss, suspended by original ribbon, extremely fine; a Knight of the Spanish Order of Naval Merit with White Distinction, consisting of an enameled white Latin Cross in silver gilt, surmounted by period gilded Spanish royal crown, with obverse featuring a delicate enameled blue anchor, with plain reverse in white enamels, measuring 9.12 mm (w) x 19.45 mm (h - inclusive royal crown), light contact, on an replaced breast ribbon, extremely good condition; an Austrian Order of Franz Joseph Knight grade, featuring a nicely enameled red four armed cross in silver gilt, with enameled black crowned imperial double-head eagle in each quadrant, eagles holding a gilded chain with the Latin lettering VIRIBUS UNITIS FJ, surmounted by an Austrian royal crown, reverse centre dated 1849 on an enameled white background, light contact, suspended by original ribbon, extremely fine; a Knight of the Portuguese Order of Villa Viscosa in silver gilt, composing of highly detailed enameled white nine-pointed star with white small star between the arms, surmounted by royal crown also in silver gilt, obverse centre with etched lettering MA (Mary) surrounded by the inscription MA PADROEIRA DO REINO on a light-blue enameled border, mirrored design, measuring 10.58 mm (w) x 17.35 (h - inclusive royal crown), light contact, suspended by original ribbon, near to mint; a Belgium Order of Leopold I Knight Civil Division, featuring a ball-tipped enameled white Maltese Cross in silver, with a surmounted Belgium royal crown, surrounded by an enameled green laurel wreath, obverse centre in black and red enamels featuring a silvered royal lion, reverse centre with Leopold I monogram, measuring 11.41 mm (w) x 17.92 mm (h - inclusive of crown suspension), with minor cracked enamels, suspended by original ribbon, extremely fine; finally, a Portuguese Order of Christ in silver gilt, consisting of a nicely red and white enameled Chris Cross, with double sided design, measuring 9.11 mm (w) x 13.95 mm (h - inclusive of integral ball), light contact, suspended by original ribbon, extremely fine.
