(Medalla de la Vieja Guardia). Instituted 1942. Fascist Party Member First Line issued. An "Old Guard" Fascist Party Member's Medal in bronze gilt, the obverse featuring eleven four-pointed gilt stars on an enameled black background, the stars bordered by enameled green laurel branches, plain reverse engraved "Exp. No. 2234 / JOSE MANUEL DE LA PARDINA TOYOS / 1934", for the name, membership number and year of affiliation, measuring 37.25 mm (w) x 43.65 mm (h - inclusive of integral ball), with gilt loss and light contact, suspended by original ribbon with a black embroidered Falange insignia, beneath of the clasp denoting First Line, on traditional Spanish-style rectangular hanger with pinback, very good.
Footnote: By Decree of 10 March 1942 before the members who flaunted hierarchy Movement in any of the unified parties, carried on the medal ribbon, pin placed so, the emblem of the hierarchy. Those who belonged to First Line led the angle of silver, and those who occupied several positions bear the symbol of the highest. Medal engraved on one side to serve as a front, leaving the other to be engraved on it the name and surname of the dealer, the number of card certifying their quality Old Guard and year of affiliation to the Party.
