Instituted 1944. In silver gilt and enamels, unmarked, the main badge has a two-piece construction, with an eagle in red, black and yellow enamels, on a red enameled cross base, the arms separated by five arrows at the left and five arrows at the right, the arrows in silver gilt, the badge measuring 55 mm, the collar chain composed of alternating eagle and cross insignia separated by open-ended wreaths, the chain incorporating six eagles in black, red and yellow enamels, six crosses in red enamels and twelve gilt wreaths, the eagle at the junction of the chain and badge larger than the other five on the chain, the chain measuring approximately 820 mm in length, all of the enameled pieces with silver gilt bases, near mint.
