Spain. An Order of Cisneros in Gold & Brilliance, Commander, c.1974
A Spanish Order of Cisneros; Commander in Gold to D. Joaquin Munoz Larrabide - Commander: two-piece construction, 18K Gold and enamels with seventeen inset stones, ten of which are on the suspension, the other seven on the loop, weighing 40.2 grams inclusive of the ribbon, 48 mm x 53.5 mm, on its full-length original ribbon, intact enamels, extremely fine. Accompanied by its Miniature of Same: two-piece construction, 18K Gold and enamels, weighing 3.3 grams, 17.2 mm x 17.3 mm, buttonhole attachment, Miniature also extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, raised loop to house the Miniature, silver plaque on a raised platform on the medal bed inscribed "AL SEÑOR D. JOAQUÍN MUNOZ LARRABIDE CON EL RECONOCIMIENTO Y GRATITUD DEL PRESIDENTE DEL INSTITUTO NACIONAL DE REFORMA Y DESARROLLO AGRARIO 15-V-1974" (To Mister D. Joaquin Munoz Larrabide, President of the National Institute of Agrarian Reform and Development, in Recognition and Gratitude, May 15, 1974), the name engraved in red, the remaining type engraved in black, the plaque held in place via rosette pins in each corner, residue evident below the naming on the plaque, light contact on the exterior, case better than very fine. Also included is a booklet entitled "REGLAMENTO DE LA ORDEN DE CISNEROS" (Regulation of the Order of Cisneros, published in Madrid in 1947, printed in four colours, twenty pages plus cover, 108 mm x 154 mm, lightly soiled).
