What's a max bid?

Spain, Franco. An Order of Naval Merit, White Distinction, II Class c.1950

(Orden al Mérito Naval). Established by Queen Isabel II on August 3, 1866. Type I. White Distinction. A multirayed eight-pointed star in silver, featuring a superimposed enameled white four-armed cross in silver giit, presenting alternated lions and castles in each quadrant also im silver gilt, the cross is superimposed by an enameled blue anchor, with gilded clasp and crown on the 12 o’clock arm, the reverse is plain with a principal vertical pin assembly, measuring 58.20 mm (w) x 57.60 mm (h), minor tarnished silver on the star and loss of gilt, evident chipping in the blue enamel of the anchor, presenting oxidation in the edges of the cross, very fine condition.

 

Footnote: The Order of Naval Merit was established by Queen Isabel II on August 3, 1866. It was founded to recognize the Spanish Navy Force which was taking part in many overseas battles at that time. The Order also recognized the civil and commercial ships who served to the Spanish Navy in combat.
