(Orden al Mérito Agrario). Instituted 1905 by King Alfonso XIII. A most superb Grand Cross Star in 18Kt. Gold & Diamonds, gems, comprising a solid 18Kt. Gold star of multi piece construction, pierced, set with 62 round and square diamonds, weighing approximately 1.5 carats, of good quality; also set with numerous synthetic gems, of red and green color (representing rubies and emeralds, with emeralds being calibre cut for this specific star); superbly enameled and crafted, unmarked, circa 1935, reverse presents beautifully detailed pin with locking hook, measuring approximately 79mm (or 3 inches) across, weighing 76.4 grams, in near mint condition and extremely rare. Top condition and quality, a centerpiece of the finest collection.
