What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

(Cruz de Guerra). Instituted in 1938. 1937-1942 Issue (1940 Production). Three-piece construction, bronze gilt arms with enamelled insignia on a silvered bronze base, unmarked, 60 mm x 60 mm, vertical pinback, intact enamels, contact marks on the reverse, extremely fine.

Footnote: The War Cross was instituted on January 26, 1937 and amended in 1942. It was a direct descendant of the Military Order of Mary Christine (María Cristina) created for the Queen Regent in 1890 and intended to reward military bravery.
