(Real y Distinguida Orden Española de Carlos III) Of superb quality in 18k Gold with a four armed Maltese cross consisting of blue and white enameling as well as dual ball finials, obverse centre with yellow and faded red hand painted on background, reverse with cypher of Charles III with motto VIRTUTI Et MÉRITO in surround, with fixed Gold laurels and unusual swivel ring suspension, measuring 33 mm (w) x 50 mm (h - inclusive of laurels and horizontally pierced dual rings for suspension), missing ball finial on 9 o'clock arm, enamel loss, near very fine.
