In Gold and silver gilt with red, white, green and blue enamels, painted obverse centrepiece, unmarked, measuring 45.3 mm (w) x 64.3 mm (h) inclusive of its wreath and laterally-pierced ball suspension, intact enamels, original ribbon, the left ball finial bent back on the arm at 6 o'clock, scattered gilt wear, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, Spain coat-of-arms in gold-coloured ink on the brown leather lid, the remaining five sides of the exterior in maroon paper, inside lid lined in white satin and maker marked "CEJALVO Y GARCIA MADRID", raised medal bed in off-white felt, measuring 65.5. mm (w) x 113 mm (h) x 33 mm (d), scuffing evident on the exterior, along with light soiling on the inside lid and medal bed, case very fine.
