What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

(Cruz Roja Española). Instituted 1876. King Alfonso XIII issue (1902-1931). Constructed of silver gilt, the obverse featuring an enameled white and red symbol of the Red Cross, surrounded by an enameled green laurel wreath with beneath enameled black Malta’s shield, encircled by Latin inscription IN HOC SIGNO SALUS (In this Sign, Health), with a white enameled border, with plain reverse, surmounted by typical of time period Spanish royal crown, measuring 32.14 mm (w) x 44.49 mm (h- inclusive of integral ball and cross), with minor gilt loss, extremely fine condition.

Footnote: The Spanish Order of the Red Cross was instituted by Queen Isabel II on July 6, 1864, soon after the foundation of the Red Cross in Geneva, Switzerland. It has been awarded to members of the Spanish Red Cross in recognition of meritorious service within the realm of public health care and service.
