Spain, Francoist State. A Pair of Shoulder Boards Attributed to Francisco Franco, c.1960
A unique pair of shoulder boards belonging to Francisco Franco, of red felt presenting the bullion embroidered personal coat of arms of Franco, a silver bullion palm device near the edge, the shoulder boards are surrounded by three rows of twisted and beaded bullion wire along the exterior edge with a button also denoting the personal coat of arms of Franco, the reverse features a thin metal sheet for uniform attachment with a twisting lock mechanism. Each shoulder board measures 60mm (w) x 128mm (l), each weighing 38.1 and 37.6 grams, all bullion intact. A rare piece of militaria belonging to an important historical figure, General Francisco Franco, in extremely fine condition.
