Army Record Card for an Infantry Soldier (named to Manuel Mendez Porto (19937), a resident of Provenza, enlisted in 1941, at the age of 22, having previously served for twenty-six months with No. 269 Black Arrows Regiment, Blue Division, confirming that he was a previous recipient of the Blue Division Russian Campaign Medal, that he "passed to firm" on May 29, 1944 with his signature in black ink, plus a black and white photo of Mendez Porto affixed to the inside "Observations" panel, printed in black ink on an off-white card stock, measuring 190 mm (w) x 170 mm (h) folded, 190 mm (w) x 323 (h) in full spread).
