An unusual multiple-rayed eight-pointed star constructed of silver gilt, with obverse displaying a period Spanish coat of arms in silver, on an enameled red background, surmounted by period imperial crown and lace in silver, reverse with button hole for attachment, measuring 21.86 mm (w) x 21.51 mm (h), minor loss of gilt and toned silver, extremely fine.
Footnote: The Military Body of Justice was officially instituted in 1857 by the Queen Isabel II, and it was in charged of the procedures of legal issues into the Spanish Army. It was abolished in 1989 and it was replaced by a different Military Magistrate.
