In brass with red and black paint, with die-stamped detail added to the wings, measuring 55 mm in diameter, with three die-holes for flight suit attachment, obverse exhibiting scattered chipping and scuffing in the black paint, the reverse with spotting and oxidation discolouration present, better than very fine.
Footnote: These badges were apparently worn in small amounts (when they could afford the production), late in the war, with the red star above the wings used only in 1938-1939.
