Spain, Kingdom. A Naval Belt, c.1900
In bronze gilt, the buckle depicts a crowned anchor on the obverse and is marked 9. on the reverse, the second piece with a wreath around the frame and an interior slotted T shape for the interlocking buckle, the reverse is marked 9., measures 43.5mm (w) x 42.5mm (h), light wear, missing the prongs for the buckle’s end to secure to the belt, remains in very fine condition. Worn on a reinforced black belt with six grommeted loops on one end for sizing and two on the other, the belt and buckle measures 960mm in total length, fraying around the bar of the buckle, in near very fine condition.
