In silver, an eight point star with faceted rays, superimposed on top sits a silver gilt insignia bearing the Coat of arms, in red and white enamels surrounded by a blue ring inscribed AL MERITO EN CAMPANA, surrounded by a wreath with four arms overlaid with a crown and tower at 12 and 6 o’clock and a lion at 3 and 9 o’clock, swords hilts pierce the wreath at 2, 5, 7 and 10 o’clock, the reverse presents a single vertical pin assembly, with several small rivets on the base, measures 61.6mm (w) x 60.9mm (h), weighs 41.1 grams, small chips to enamel and notable scratches to bar across 12 o’clock silver gilt arm, in very fine condition.
