Medalj för Zeal and Devotion. Instituted in 1803. Gold Grade, Gustav V (1907-1950). In Gold, weighing 18.7 grams, engraved "GULD" (Gold) and dated "1948" on the edge, obverse illustrating the left-facing bust of King Gustav V of Sweden, surrounded by the inscription "GUSTAV V SVERIGES GÖT O VEND KONUNG", engraver marked "A.L." (A. Lindberg) at the base of the King's bust, reverse illustrating an oval wreath, engraved "TILL OSKAR FREDRIK BLÜCHER" below the wreath, surrounded by the inscription "FÖR NIT OCH REDLIGHET I RIKETS TJÄNST", measuring 27.5 mm (w) x 40.3 mm (h) inclusive of its bar suspension, contact marks, original ribbon, better than very fine.
