What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

(Harp Madalyası). Constructed of silver with enamels, consisting of a five-pointed star with arms completing in ball finials, the obverse featuring a red enameled base, overlaid by a raised and silvered crescent, surrounding a silvered Tughra of Sultan Mehmed V above an Islamic calendar date of 1333 (AD 1915), the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked but demonstrating the physical characteristics of manufacture by the firm of Godet, Berlin, measuring 58.74 mm (w) x 57.18 mm (h), weighing 28.3 grams, some flecking if visible to the enamels and the date plaque has loosen but remains firmly secured to the badge, a striking and high-quality example in extremely fine condition.
