In silver with red enamels, German-made, ball finials on the tips of the star points, measuring 56.2 mm (w) x 54.5 mm (h), the vertical pinback having been deleted and replaced with a chain and fob affixed to two loops, the loops placed along the right side of the star point at 12 o'clock and along the left side of the star point at 5 o'clock, intact enamels, very light contact, near extremely fine.

It was instituted by Sultan Mehmed V on March 1, 1915 for gallantry in battle.
