What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A Second War Soviet Defender of Moscow Group - Order of the Badge of Honour, Type 4 (silver with gilt and red enamels, concave, maker marked "Monetny Dvor" and number hand engraved "689062" on the reverse, 33 mm x 46.7 mm); Medal for Combat Service, Type 2 (silver with red enamels, number stamped "2223869" on the reverse, 32.2 mm); Medal for the Defence of Moscow (brass, 32.2 mm); Medal for Victory Over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 (brass, 32.2 mm); Jubilee Medal for 30 Years of the Armed Forces 1918-1948 (brass, 32 mm); and Jubilee Medal for 40 Years of the Armed Forces 1918-1958 (brass, 31.8 mm). Each with original ribbons and mounted to conjoined five-sided aluminum suspensions, metal screwbacks at either end, red enamel loss evident on the Medal for Combat Service, the Order of the Badge of Honour with intact enamels, a few of the brass medals exhibiting surface wear, light contact, better than very fine.
