What's a max bid?

Russia, Soviet Union. A Medal for the Liberation of Belgrade 1944

(Медаль «За освобождение Белграда»). Instituted in 1945. In brass, measuring 32.5 mm (w) x 37.8 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, the edge of the medal butting the reverse is chattered due to an incorrect die-line error, exhibiting spotting and light contact overall, original ribbon, mounted to a five-sided magnetic metal suspension with pinback, near very fine. Accompanied by an Award Document, named to the recipient, numbered "A No. 028839", with an official stamp, dated February 18, 1945 and measuring 80 mm (w) x 108 mm (h), lightly soiled.

 

Footnote: The Medal for the Liberation of Belgrade is a Second World War campaign medal of the Soviet Union. It was established on June 9, 1945 by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, to satisfy the petition of the People's Commissariat for Defence of the Soviet Union.
