What's a max bid?

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Russia, Soviet Union. A Medal for Combat Service

(Медаль за боевую службу). Instituted in 1938. In silver, the red enamels on "CCCP" having worn off, number engraved "2822308" on the reverse, measuring 32 mm in diameter, edge nicks, contact marks, original ribbon, mounted to a five-sided brass suspension with pinback, fine.

Footnote: The Medal for Combat Service was instituted on October 17, 1938 and awarded for "combat action resulting in a military success", "courageous defence of the state borders", or "successful military and political training and preparation". It was also awarded for ten years' service prior to the creation of the long service awards.
