Order of the Patriotic War, II Class, Type II: in silver with red and white enamels, Gold hammer and sickle insignia, concave reverse, Monetny Dvor mint marked and number engraved "711877" on the reverse, measuring 43.8 mm (w) x 45.5 mm (h), screwback, chipping and loss evident in the red enamels on the star point at 5 o'clock: Order of the Patriotic War, II Class, Type III (1985 Issue): in silver with red and white enamels, gilt hammer and sickle insignia, concave reverse, Monetny Dvor mint marked and number engraved "1226775" on the reverse, measuring 44.3 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), screwback; and Medal for Combat Service: in silver with red enamels, measuring 32 mm in diameter, intact enamels, missing its ribbon and five-sided suspension. Better than very fine. Accompanied by a People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs (NKVD = Narodnyy Komissariat Vnutrennikh Del, the interior ministry of the Soviet Union) Membership Identification Booklet (named to the recipient, dated February 3, 1941, numbered "239", veteran's black and white photograph pasted in place on the inside cover, twolarge stamps, measuring 68 mm (w) x 86 mm (h)); an Award Booklet (named to the recipient, dated September 1, 1946, numbered "208353", one stamp, conforming his award of the Order of the Patriotic War, II Class, Type II (711877), along with two other awards, measuring 73 mm (w) x 104 mm (h)); and an Award Booklet (named to the recipient, dated March 14, 1985, numbered 215775", one stamp, conforming his award of the Order of the Patriotic War, II Class, Type III (1226775), measuring 72 mm (w) x 100 mm (h)).
