Includes:
1. Dress tunic: the exterior fabricated from an olive green wool. Both shoulders are adorned with 65 mm (w) x 165 mm (h) Sergeant rank shoulder boards, the rank insignia in gold-coloured bullion wire and trimmed in red embroidery, with a large "CA" (Советская Аpмия = Soviet Army) below the rank insignia, on a black wool base, the outer frame trimmed in a white cord. There are collar tabs sewn in place at the points on the collars, each bearing a Motor Rifle Commissariat star and wreath insignia above leafing, each in gilt aluminum on a red wool base, the tabs themselves with black wool uppers and trimmed in gilt aluminum. The front has two large pockets with fold over flaps, with a code stamped in black ink on the underside of the flap on the left pocket. The left breast has four insignia in place: a Master Specialist Badge for NCOs and Men, an Excellent Army Badge and a Red Army Guard's Badge place on the first row, while the second row has a Basic Paratrooper Badge with Two Jumps Tag, the first two badges pinned in place, the latter two badges secured in place by their screwbacks. The front is completed by four large brass-coloured buttons on the right side, each bearing the Red Army insignia, facing four reinforced button holes on the left side, each of the buttons maker marked on the reverse. The left sleeve has two insignia sewn in place: the shoulder with a 70 mm (w) x 99 mm (h) badge bearing the Motor Rifle Commissariat insignia in red embroidery and a yellow rubberization, centred by a gilt aluminum star, inscribed with the dates "1989" and "1991" above and "Ленинград" (Leningrad) below, on a black wool base, the outer frame trimmed in a white cord; the area just above the cuff with a 70 mm (w) x 72 mm (h) officer candidate service stripes badge, the rank insignia in gold-coloured bullion wire and trimmed in red embroidery, with a gilt aluminum star below, on a black wool base, the outer frame trimmed in a white cord. There are black metal hooks placed on either side at the waist for placement of a belt. The inside of the tunic comes with a brownish-green nylon lining, while the sleeves are lined in the same material, plus a 60 mm long green cotton strap in the collar for placing the tunic on a hook. There is a top-entry pocket on the left side, with a brown plastic button and button down tab closure, stamped in a code in yellow ink on the lining covering the pocket, along with being stamped in black ink "449" above a rectangular box inscribed "11-89" on the lining below. In addition, the cotton lined waist pocket on the left side is manufacturer stamped in black ink, complete with washing and care instructions indicated. The tunic measures 500 mm across the shoulders x 745 mm in length, is free of mothing, exhibiting light soiling and wear overall, the cord on the outer frame of the Leningrad badge coming away from its body;

Uniform Cap: the exterior is fabricated from an olive green wool, with a 47 mm wide band in black wool around its circumference, the top edge of which is trimmed in red piping, as is the very top edge of the cap around its circumference. There is a 50 mm (w) x 40 mm (h) NCOs Red Army cap badge in gilt aluminum and red enamels affixed by dual prongs on the front. The stiff visor is finished in a shiny simulated black patent leather on the upper, with a flat black underside. There is a two-piece strap in a shiny simulated black patent leather, the strap with matching dual adjustable sliders, running across the front between the gilt aluminum buttons on either side, each of the buttons bearing the Red Army insignia. Inside, the underlying stiff framework on the sidewalls is wrapped in an olive green cotton, as is the dome of the cap. It incorporates a 38 mm wide sweatband in simulated leather, with a cotton underside, the ends of which are stitched together. The dome incorporates a dark green diamond-shaped indecipherable manufacturer's label, along with being stamped in yellow ink with the date "1973", a serial number and the name "Parkhomenko" in Russian just above the label. The cap measures 280 mm in width x 290 mm in depth x 130 mm in height, is free of mothing, with a few nips on the exterior in the wool, the underlying framework casting a ghost on the top, exhibiting wear on the sweatband. Very fine.
